Requirements: 1 year experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, vent experience
Skills: Vents, art lines, PICC/ports, chest tubes, drains, wounds, ostomies, arrhythmia recognition, cardioversion, post-cath care
Drips: Insulin, levo, Cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, tPA, heparin, amio, Lasix, sedation drips
Ratios: ICU 1:2, occasionally 1:3; Med Surg float 1:5–1:6
Float: PCU and occasional Med Surg
