Travel Assistant (Translation)

Summary About the position: The primary purpose of this position is to customer service for the Information, Tickets, and Travel (ITT) Office, 35th Force Support Squadron, Misawa AB Japan. Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively in English and Japanese. This is a Flexible category position; guaranteed 0 hours per week, but may work up to 40 hours a week depending on the needs of the facility. Military Spouse Preference is not lost if selected for this position. Responsibilities The incumbent is responsible for assisting patrons by providing information concerning leisure activities, selling tickets, making reservations, and arranging for special accommodations required for tours, sporting events, theaters, and special events. Provides full assistance to individuals or groups planning travel including commercial transportation, hotel reservations, and other local services or information.
