*University of Maryland Capital Region Health / Prince George’s Hospital Center* *UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND SCHOOL OF MEDICINE* The Program in Trauma at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is currently recruiting a full-time surgery faculty member at UM Capital Region Health (UMCRH) Medical Center located in Largo, Maryland. Clinical responsibilities include trauma, emergency general surgery and surgical critical care. Resident/student education and research are also core components of the position. The trauma center is the 2ndbusiest in the state of Maryland, with a good mix of penetrating and blunt mechanisms of injury. Requirements include: board certification/eligibility by the American Board of Surgery with added qualifications in Surgical Critical Care, fellowship training in trauma/surgical critical care, related work experience, and demonstrated commitment toward research.
