Trauma Co-Ordinator AA

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated and experienced team member to join our trauma service at Victoria Hospital. This role offers a unique chance to shape and influence the delivery of trauma care, working within a dedicated multidisciplinary team across the trauma wards and theatre setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of the trauma operating list. The focus will be on improving patient flow, reducing cancelled operations, and minimising prolonged pre-operative fasting for trauma patients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the scheduling of trauma surgery and support the smooth running of the trauma list
• Communicate effectively with patients, wards, theatres, clinical co-ordinators and departments to ensure seamless patient management
• Act as the single point of contact between the orthopaedic team, patients, and carers
• Support data collection and audit processes for the trauma service
