**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**

Performs activities related to transportation of patients to and from diagnostic testing, room-to-room transfers, discharge, and admission as directed by nursing and ancillary departments. Serves the customer in the facility such as: patients, ancillary departments and nursing units.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**

+ Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ Basic Life Support certification required or must receive certification within three (3) months of start date.
+ Obtain AHA BLS certification by the end of orientation.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):**

+ Patient experience preferred.
