Transportation Engineering Co-op Student (Madrid)

Role Overview

Arcadis Toronto West's transportation team is looking for a motivated individual with a strong interest in transportation engineering as it relates to roadway and staging design. The core of this team's work involves the preparation of traffic staging design packages for a variety of projects located in the GTA including light rail transit projects. These packages emphasize the concept of traffic safety design for both the public and on‑site workers. There is also the potential to gain exposure to other transportation related disciplines such as transportation planning.

Role accountabilities

• Term: 4 Months beginning in September 2025
• Assisting engineering staff with the following:
  • Transportation design with the use of drafting software.
  • Preparation of submission packages.
  • Technical research involving various roadway design manuals.
  • Aid in coordination between other engineering disciplines.
