Summary About the Position: The Military Entrance Processing Station plays a vital role in maintaining the nation's military might by ensuring that each new member of the Armed Forces: Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Space Force & Coast Guard, meets the high mental, moral and medical standards required by the DoD and the military services. Every MEPS represents state of the art in testing, examining and processing applicants for enlistment into the Armed Forces. This is a permanent position. Responsibilities As a Transportation Assistant, you will: Prepare, amend, and revoke transportation military orders for recruits and enlistees assigned to all Services. Ensure the Travel Program operates within compliance of the Inspector General (IG), Staff Assistance Visit (SAV), and Command Inspection Program (CIP) standards.
