Transport Team Manager

Purpose of the role:

As the Transport Team Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth management of our transport operation, ensuring cost‑effective delivery of services, compliance with Health & Safety and regulatory standards, and the achievement of key people and operational KPIs. You will lead the transport team and oversee the fleet on a day‑to‑day basis, supporting the wider management team and driving continuous improvement across all areas of the operation.

Core Accountabilities

• Manage labour usage within the transport team, ensuring tasks are covered efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Deliver all items to agreed customer specifications, minimising wastage and maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure operational costs are managed in line with company directives.
