Transport Planner

​​​​​​GBR Recruitment Ltd are working exclusively with a leading warehouse & distribution company based in the South Holland area of Lincolnshire (Southeastern Lincolnshire) recruiting for an experienced Night Transport Planner to work 2000 to 0800 night shift on a 12 hour, 4 on 4 off shift system.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced transport professional who has worked in haulage companies with tractor unit & trailer fleets of 50+ supplying into major retailers & manufacturing companies.

You will have extremely strong geographical knowledge, strong route planning skills, strong negotiation skills to deal with any delivery time slots being missed with customers, strong coordinating & administration skills, plus be fully up to date with driving hours regulations.

You will understand digital tacho rules & the downloading of driving hours worked.

You will be strong in using transport planning systems & WMS.
