Job Description

 We are working on behalf of a friendly, well-established haulage company based on the outskirts of Ipswich who are looking for a Transport Manager to join their team!
 With over 40 years in the industry, and a passion for ensuring responsibility to the environment, our client is a leading provider in distribution, container transport, hazardous cargo, and flat trailer services.
 Key Responsibilities:
 Lead the scheduling and dispatching a fleet of HGVs on a daily basis.
 Support a team of HGV drivers in line with Company values.
 Develop the customer base to increase weekly vehicle revenue.
 Track the performance and profitability of operations against financial targets.
 Promote the Company services and be a brand ambassador.
 Ensure vehicle revenues and customer service levels are maintained.
 Safety, health and compliance (Driver hours, WTD).
