Job Description
Summary Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities. Responsibilities Oversees and participates in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of strategic and operational plans and training and development programs. Develops a variety of highly specialized curricula for presentation to state and local correctional, pretrial, probation, parole and/or reentry services personnel, legislators, and other elected officials. Recommends and designs appropriate training formats to include the modules for e-Learning training, activities for programs containing blended learning approaches, programs conducted via video camera and computer (e.g., virtual platform, virtual instructor led training, webinars), and audio/video conferences.
