Training Instructor

Summary This position is located in the DEA, Operations Division, Office of Training (OT), International Section (TRI), Mobile Unit A (OTIA). This position primary purpose is to serve as Instructor and Course Developer in the field of foreign law enforcement training to include Firearms, Small Unit Tactics and Close Quarter Combat, Evasive Driving, Land Navigation, Personnel Recovery (PR), Survival Techniques and Systems, Human Intelligence, and Operational Planning. Responsibilities As a your typical work assignments may include: Serves as a technical expert and presents materials in broad, and most times complex subject areas including, providing training to foreign law enforcement SIU in Firearms, close quarter combat (CQB), evasive driving, land navigation, evading/preventing isolating events, as well as surviving and coping with detention/hostage event by a foreign government and/or terrorist organization.
