Training Delivery Instructor (Royal Navy External Communications)

Position Overview

Full‑time role, 37.5 hours a week. Location: HMS Collingwood, Fareham. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

Project Selborne is a transformational training programme aimed at modernising Royal Navy training to deliver “better trained sailors to the front line faster”. As an instructor you’ll deliver hands‑on instruction in External Communications and Cryptographic Maintenance to Phase 3 CIS(T) Maintainers within the Weapons Engineering department.

Responsibilities

• Teach maintenance of critical communication and cryptographic hardware, ensuring students gain the technical skills they need.
• Support personalised learning by working with L&D and training staff to tailor training to each trainee’s needs, promoting modernised courses and cultural change.
