Description Summary
To ensure the readiness and functionality of Defence Training Areas. This role involves coordinating tasks with Associated Contractors, maintaining and repairing target equipment, and ensuring the safety and accessibility of Range Live Fire areas. The TAR Operator is responsible for the planning and execution of target placement based on Defence Unit requirements, conducting necessary inspections and audits, and managing consumable supplies. They must also possess the skills to operate various target systems and handle off-road driving and minor repairs, ensuring the training environment is fit for use at all times.About the Role
