Trainee Toolmaker

Red Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Trainee Toolmaker on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing company.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career in toolmaking. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will receive hands-on training in the manufacture, maintenance and repair of tooling while gaining valuable experience within a busy production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting with the manufacture and maintenance of tooling and precision components

* Supporting experienced Toolmakers with repairs and modifications

* Using a variety of engineering equipment and hand tools

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Carrying out routine inspections and quality checks

* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
