We have Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) opportunities available across Bradford and Craven—a fantastic chance to work and study within a rapidly growing team supporting children and young people in educational settings.

In line with the Government’s Green Paper ambitions to improve mental health support in schools, Bradford has established and well-developed teams, and we are now recruiting to further strengthen this provision.

These are 12-month fixed-term trainee posts at Agenda for Change (AfC) Band 4. Successful candidates will undertake the EMHP training programme, delivered at Prestwich, attending university two days per week from September 2026, while working in service for the remaining three days.
