Responsible for effective and efficient preparation, maintenance and monitoring of a multi‑chair unit or dental clinic. This may also include general anaesthetics theatres, outreach dental units and peripheral hospital dental service.

To ensure the best possible dental nursing care and practice is delivered to patients including those with complex medical, physical and emotional needs within the framework of the Health Boards services.

Provide teaching and support of dental nurse procedures to the dental team as a whole.
