An excellent opportunity to start a long term agency position overseeing logistics on a new build near Exeter city centre. To manage traffic and pedestrian flow around the grounds of a very narrow commercial new build. You will need to be able to communicate well to pedestrians and the site team. As well as assist the pedestrian crane operator when needed with slinging and difficult lifts. Demand in duties between the 2 roles will vary as the project goes on. The project is expected to run for 18 months.

Day to day responsibilities

• Direct crane or lifting operations using hand signals or radio communication.
• Ensure loads are correctly secured and balanced prior to lifting.
• Coordinate with crane operator to ensure safe movement of loads around the site.
• Maintain clear exclusion zones around lifting areas.
