Client in Logistics Distribution and Supply chain based in Westcott Aylesbury is looking for a motivated candidate to join the team as a Traffic Marshall (Banksman)

The Role

In the Traffic Marshall (Banksman) role you'll report to the Yard Manager and will be primarily working with the Traffic (lorry/vehicles) coming in and out of the site by providing assistance and effective communication via signalling or verbal whilst manoeuvring the waste material into the recycling plant/processing machinery. You ll be working at food waste management company who prepares Biogas and fertilizers.

Specific tasks include:

• Guiding the vehicle operator
• Undertaking and understanding risk
• Weighing the containers on the weighing bridge
• Opening the required compartment for the vehicle to unload the waste
• Assisting with other warehouse/yard duties of loading and unloading
