Position Summary:
The Trades Specialist Sheet Metal Worker in the HVAC Department ofUniversity Facilities (https://www.buffalo.edu/administrative-services/about-us/staff_directory/facilities.html) performs journey-level sheet metal work related to the fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of sheet metal components, with a primary focus on HVAC systems. The incumbent works with various metal materials and uses specialized tools and equipment to construct air ducts, equipment enclosures, and various metal fixtures. This position may also supervise and instruct semi-skilled and unskilled staff in sheet metal tasks.
