Job Description

We are partnering with a well-established international retail and ecommerce business to recruit an experienced Trade Compliance Lead. This is a key role responsible for overseeing all import/export compliance activities and bonded warehouse operations, ensuring goods move efficiently and compliantly through the global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage import/export compliance and customs activities
  • Oversee bonded warehouse operations and controls
  • Ensure accurate customs declarations, commodity codes, duties and VAT treatment
  • Liaise with HMRC, freight forwarders, customs brokers and courier partners
  • Maintain compliant, audit-ready documentation and records
  • Resolve customs-related issues and drive process improvements
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams across the business
