Tower Crane Metal Fabricator

A full-time vacancy exists for a qualified Metal Fabricator, to work in the Sydney area for the company Advance Cranes Pty Ltd.

Minimum of 3 years relevant experience required if holding the equivalent of an AQF Certificate IV (or an equivalent AQF III Certificate with two years of on-the-job training), otherwise 5 years relevant experience required. Sound knowledge of English also required.

Salary package – $77,673 per annum + superannuation

Duties include:

·Manufacturing crane bases based on the engineer’s drawings.

·Examining design blueprints to fabricate crane components.

·Ability to use necessary measurement tools.

·Shape using machine tools as well as heating and hammering

·Proficient at examining welds.

·Joining metal sections using different welding techniques

·Performing quality checks

·Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, and painting

·Be flexible to work on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays
