Toolroom Technician

Candour Talent are recruiting a Toolroom Technician to join their client’s team in Port Talbot.

* Employment Type: Full Time/Permanent

* Working Hours: Days Only

* Salary: Circa £40k

Our client is looking for a skilled Toolroom Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. The role offers secure employment, long-term development opportunities, and a range of benefits.

The Role:

* Preparing tooling and changeover equipment in advance of upcoming changeovers

* Inspection of tools returned to the tool room for defects and quality

* Ensure all tools are cleaned on return to the tool room

* Stock control and ordering parts, as necessary

* Internal calibration all internal measurement equipment

* Support with coaching and training of production team during changeovers

* Record keeping and documentation (tools, calibration checks etc)

* Housekeeping within the tool room.
