Tooling Technician

About the role
Burn is looking for a Tooling Technician who will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and manufacture of sheet metal stamping tools, jigs, and fixtures to support efficient production operations.
The role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, improving tooling performance, and ensuring all tooling activities are carried out safely, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

+ Repair and maintain sheet metal stamping tools, jigs, and assembly fixtures.

+ Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance

+ Attend breakdowns, identify faults, and problem-solve at the press with minimal downtime to aid production.

+ Report breakdown of root causes, equipment faults, and management concerns.

+ Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations.
