Tooling Technician

About the role Burn is looking for a Tooling Technician who will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and manufacture of sheet metal stamping tools, jigs, and fixtures to support efficient production operations.

The role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, improving tooling performance, and ensuring all tooling activities are carried out safely, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities Repair and maintain sheet metal stamping tools, jigs, and assembly fixtures.

Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance Attend breakdowns, identify faults, and problem-solve at the press with minimal downtime to aid production.

Report breakdown of root causes, equipment faults, and management concerns.

Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations.

Identify spare requirements and maintain inventory levels.
