Tooling Engineer - Jig & Fixture Design

As a Mid senior/Senior Level Tooling Engineer- Jigs & Fixture design, you will be responsible for Jigs & Fixture design & development for eVTOL airframes prototype manufacturing & supporting in assembly integration. The candidate will be responsible for interacting with vendors and cross functional teams in realization of tooling and prove out. Roles & responsibilities Design and develop Bonding jigs, assembly jigs & fixtures, Ground support equipment, Inspection gauges used in the production and maintenance of aircraft sub-assembly, assembly & integration. Perform DFM/DFA assessment during tooling design reviews to ensure manufacturability of airframe systems. Exposure to Aircraft assembly & integration processes, 3D metrology inspection. Strong hold in CAD modelling & drafting in CATIA V6, Enovia PLM. Maintain accurate documentation and records of tool designs and modifications.
