Tooling Engineer

<ul> <li>Analyze product geometry (CAD) from Product design team and i</li> <li>Collaborate with Design Engineer to develop tooling and fixture design concepts.</li> <li>Collaborate with Test Engineer to develop testing fixture.</li> <li>Design and create tooling / fixture CAD.</li> <li>Release CAD to the vendor.</li> <li>Collaborate with the vendor through the Design for Manufacturability (DFM) process.</li> <li>Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) upon receipt of the tooling.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience in the design of tooling and molds (ie. injection moulding)</li> <li>Strong 3D and 2D CAD skills (NX, SolidWorks or ProE/Creo preferred)</li> <li>Practical knowledge of manufacturing principles.</li> <li>Team-oriented ind...
