Job Description

Position Purpose:

Prepare Tooling designs for the Rolling Mills and Assembly departments and Support Manufacturing with Corrective Actions and Continuous Improvement

Essential Functions:

• Prepare tooling designs as required for the New Product Schedule.
• Produce detail tooling drawings.
• Assist with the manufacture of tooling as appropriate
• Supervise first use to ensure appropriate shapes, installation and efficient use
• Coordinate and ensure acceptable rework if necessary
• Design and develop efficient tooling for the Rolling Mills and Production Assembly
• Incorporate standardization and quick‑change methods whenever appropriate
• Document and catalogue all tooling lists for set‑up and control purposes.
• Maintain drawings current
