Our client is seeking a Tool Room Team Leader for their manufacturing site in Nottinghamshire. The role is commutable from Nottingham and Sheffield. The company produces high‑quality, cost‑effective cam switches and disconnectors for the global market while minimizing environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and mentoring the toolroom team to provide efficient services, focusing on general tool maintenance, new tooling processes for product development, and coordination of end‑of‑life tool replacement.
• Developing the knowledge and cross‑functional skills of the team, covering mould tools, press tools, machining, EDM, and bench fitting.
• Collaborating with supervisors to plan and prioritize daily work schedules, ensuring smooth operation.
• Implementing a Tooling TPM program to minimize waiting toolroom time for mould and press shop.
