Job Description

Responsible for the smooth implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production tooling and production wear components. The role combines tooling design and procurement with hands-on toolroom support and leadership, ensuring tooling meets customer, manufacturing, safety, cost, and quality requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all required tooling drawings are provided in a timely manner and controlled to the latest revision.

Design tooling for manufacturability, cost reduction, longevity, mistake proofing, and operator ergonomics.

Provide CAD programs and technical support for tooling manufacture.

Liaise with customers, Programme Managers, and internal teams to agree tooling designs and tolerances.

Outsource new tooling, obtain quotations, manage orders, and maintain audit-ready records using the company ERP system.
