Tool Maker / Manual Machinist

Permanent role based in Wetherby, with commuting options from York, Leeds or Harrogate.

Salary & Hours

£33,000–£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am–5:15 pm. Overtime is available and paid at Time + ⅓ on weekdays and Time + ½ on Saturdays.

Required Experience

• Experienced tool room operative in the engineering sector
• Excellent manual milling skills
• TIG welding knowledge is beneficial
• Grinding and polishing experience
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings
• Knowledge of a Bridgeport XYZ axis milling machine is advantageous
• Strong understanding of accuracy and quality provision
• Can work independently and well within a team
• Adheres to all quality and H&S standards
