Tool Design Engineer – Final Assembly

As part of the Global Manufacturing Engineering team, you will design and develop tooling solutions to support final assembly operations across vehicle programmes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient, ergonomic, and cost-effective tooling, including lift aids, fixtures, and inspection gauges. This role combines design engineering, manufacturing knowledge, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced automotive environment.

+ Design and develop tooling solutions for final vehicle assembly operations, including:
+ Assembly lift aids for operator ergonomics and safety
+ Fixtures for accurate positioning and support of components
+ Gauges and checking fixtures for quality verification
+ Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools (e.g., CATIA V5/V6, NX)
+ Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and supplier teams to define tooling requirements and integrate solutions into assembly lines
