Tool Crib Technician - Swing Shift

Job Overview

• Educational requirements: High school diploma or GED and similar work experience.
• Reports to: Tool Crib Assistant Manager.
• Primary job responsibility: Maintaining knowledge of and demonstrate proficiency in safe operation of furnace, lathe, and other equipment used in the cleaning and polishing of tooling in a manner that has minimal damaging effects on tooling. Perform quality control for tooling.

Essential Functions

• Clean and polish all extrusion tooling coming in from the manufacturing floor.
• Gather and stage tooling for jobs according to position in queue.
• Issue tooling and inspection gauges for each job.
• Provide a high level of customer service by assisting all internal customers.
• Maintain technical knowledge in order to provide accurate, valid and complete information to customer questions/concerns.
