Tool and die makers are skilled crafters working in a manufacturing industry.


Our Tool and die makers work in production and also run a line.


Youre skilled craftspeople who typically learn their trade through a combination of academic coursework and with substantial period of on-the-job training that is functionally an apprenticeship. You make jigs, fixtures, dies, gauges , machine tools other tools used in manufacturing processes

  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of tools and dies

  • Design and build tools and jigs using various machines and tools

  • Inspect finished tools and dies for accuracy and quality

  • Repair and maintain existing tools and dies

  • Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve tool/die and roll forming issues
