TIG Welder

Lodestone Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a growing engineering company in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a TIG welder.

The business has been fortunate to experience massive growth in the last 3 years covering a range of fabrication based projects. They require an experienced TIG welder with experience working on aluminium. The fabrication shop has recently been refurbished so you will be going into a well‑run workshop.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained or time-served welder with a bias in TIG welding.
• Predominant experience in TIG welding predominantly on aluminium.
• Experience in butt and fillet welds to full X‑ray penetrant standard.
• Have a range of experience working on steel up to 15 mm thick.
• Prior experience working on medium to heavy engineering projects or big fabricated parts for the Oil & Gas, Nuclear or Defence sectors to coded standard would be ideal.
