TIG Welder

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced (GTAW) TIG Welder with proven capability in duplex stainless steels, Inconel clad carbon steel, and precision pipe spool fabrication. The role is ideal for a coded welder who takes pride in producing high-integrity welds that consistently meet stringent NDE and QA requirements.

Position Details

Location: Montrose, Scotland

Hours: 4 days on / 4 days off – split between day and nights, 46 hours per week

Contract: Ongoing Temporary

Pay: £28 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on duplex stainless steels and Inconel clad carbon steel in line with approved WPS.
• Fabricate and weld pipe spools (¾–9 OD) to tight tolerances, ensuring correct alignment, sound root fusion, and full penetration.
