THERAPY ASSISTANT - JOB DESCRIPTION (CONCISE & PRACTICAL)

• Assist therapists (physio/occupational/speech) in delivering treatment plans
• Support patients with exercises, mobility, and rehabilitation activities
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas before and after sessions
• Monitor patient progress and report feedback to therapists
• Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions
• Assist in daily living activities (e.g. walking, stretching, basic care)
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of therapy equipment and environment
• Record basic patient data and session notes as instructed
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
