A unique opportunity is available for a highly passionate, dynamic and engaging Theatre Floor Coordinator to step into a key leadership role at a private hospital in Sydney on a full-time basis. POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Floor Coordinator, you will be responsible for the workflow coordination of the shift, ensuring the timely and efficient flow of operating lists and labour management. This is a key role in supporting the strategic direction of the department to both internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include:Overseeing safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards;
Supporting and liaising with the Nurse Unit Manager of the Perioperative department and wards;
Ensuring all theatres are staffed appropriately and cost-efficiently;
Understanding legislative requirements, ACORN and sterilisation standards;
Demonstrating knowledge of accreditation processes, quality and risk management; <...
