Job Description

Location: Ipoh
Job Summary:
The Product Engineer is responsible for production support activities, yield improvements, quality improvement and hardware maintenance. Also required to review the scrap trend to identify the major contributors and provide improvement plan to reduce the scrap cost.
Responsibilities:
Ensure product meets/exceeds all yield, quality, timeline commitments.
Debug, identify root causes, and develop solutions for failures through electrical failure and data analysis.
Monitor yield performance and work on yield improvements. Prioritize and identify opportunities for efficiency and technical improvements.
Work with QA to address customer returns root cause analysis.
Production sustaining support for OSAT to meet supply chain requirement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or any related course and experience.
