Terrestrial Biologist / Ecologist

Parsons is looking for an experienced terrestrial biologist to join the Environmental Services Group in Ontario. The role focuses on supporting provincial and municipal clients in developing and improving transportation systems through innovative ecological solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of field and office tasks requiring the application of complex scientific principles and fundamental theories.
• Undertakes biological field investigations and data collection (e.g., breeding bird and amphibian surveys, bat acoustic surveys, vegetation inventories, tree surveys, wildlife and species-at-risk surveys, ecological land classification assessment, wetland evaluations, and fisheries assessments) following established protocols.
• Produces high‑quality technical reports, impact assessments, and ecological reporting.
