Lead Tern's cloud migration as a Site Reliability Engineer focused on optimizing infrastructure for growth. Drive performance enhancements and implement crucial monitoring strategies in a rapidly expanding environment.
As Tern anticipates a significant increase in users, we need a dedicated engineer to manage our transition from Heroku to Google Cloud Platform. This is a player-coach role where you will not only lead technical efforts but also mentor engineers to ensure a high standard of reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the architecture and execution of GCP migration
• Maintain Postgres core and Fivetran data pipeline infrastructure
• Enhance critical backend code paths for scalability
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems for early issue detection
