Tenure-Track Associate Professor

Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 534129), to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Surgery or related disciplines, with a strong track record in urology research, in particular on genetic epidemiology, genetic functional study, and clinical translational research for prostate cancer and other urological diseases. They should have leadership and evidence of international standing, outstanding achievements in high-quality research as indicated by publication record and external grants, and demonstrated ability to work across disciplines towards new research initiatives that fit with the Department’s research areas.
