Tenure-Track Assistant Professor

Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 534495), to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract.

Applicants should possess: (i) a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Surgery or a related discipline; (ii) a strong track record in breast surgery research, in particular on molecular genetics, next generation sequencing, cancer biology, tumour microenvironment, and clinical translational research for breast cancer; (iii) outstanding achievements in high-quality research as indicated by publication record and external grants; (iv) evidence of international recognition; (v) a demonstrated ability to work across disciplines towards new research initiatives that fit with the Department’s research areas; a...
