Temporary Speech Pathologist at Lakeridge Health

Lakeridge Health is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Speech Pathologist for a 12-month tenure. You will address communication and swallowing disorders while collaborating with healthcare professionals.
This role involves working at both Oshawa and Bowmanville sites in an 8-hour shift format, which includes weekends. You will identify, evaluate, and manage disorders, also providing education and handling administrative tasks. We seek a dedicated professional who is passionate about patient care and outcomes in various therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and treat communication and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff on patient findings
• Plan and execute prevention and research activities
• Manage caseload with requisite administrative tasks
• Travel between Lakeridge Health sites as needed
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
