•  Exhibition Design and Productions Reports to: Director, Exhibition Installation Job Type: Temporary – Part-time Job Classification: Hourly (Non-exempt)                           Workplace Location: Los Angeles – Academy Museum Summary/Objective: Reporting to the Director of Exhibitions Installation, the Preparator will focus on artwork installation in exhibition galleries, maintaining galleries and casework, preparing, and packing art loans, assisting with collections handling, and assisting in many aspects of preparation for exhibition production.


• This is a very physical role.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Hang, level, and secure framed objects.


• Position, mount, and secure large and small 3D objects.
