Temporary Payroll Officer

The Position

Sharp & Carter are working with a large listed organisation to recruit a temporary payroll professional. This position is based in Brisbane CBD.

As the Payroll Officer, you will ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery while providing exceptional customer service to employees and managers. You will partner closely with the business to develop a strong understanding of awards, agreements, and pay complexities, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll ensuring accurate calculations;
• Audit and analyse payrolls to ensure legislative, tax, superannuation, and award compliance;
• Prepare and manage reports, reconciliations, and other internal payroll requirements;
