Lakeridge Health is seeking a Temporary Part Time Registered Nurse for its Surgical Program in Oshawa. Join a dedicated team providing patient-centered care across various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends. In this role, you'll report to the Patient Care Manager and deliver exceptional patient care in the PACU and Day Surgery settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate pre and post-operative patient care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient experience
• Utilize critical thinking for clinical decision-making
• Educate patients on recovery and discharge instructions
• Manage airway and invasive monitoring of patients

Requirements

• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical Care or ED Certificate preferred
• Previous PACU experience an asset
