Role Overview

Christ the King High School in Leduc, AB is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and student‑centered Special Education Teacher to lead learning in a LEAP (Learning Every Day Achieving Potential) classroom. The LEAP program provides an inclusive, supportive, and highly individualized learning environment for students with significant and diverse learning needs, ensuring every student is welcomed, valued, and able to participate meaningfully in school life. Programming in LEAP emphasizes functional academics, communication, emotional regulation, personal safety, health and wellness, and independence. Instruction is strengths‑based, developmentally appropriate, and responsive to each student's unique learning profile, reflecting the program's commitment to helping students build confidence, self‑advocacy, and lifelong learning habits.
