Location: Newforge Lane OR Bushmills
 Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week 
 Pay Rate: £ per hour
About the Role
The Fisheries and Aquatic Ecosystems Branch (FAEB) of AFBI carries out research, monitoring, and technology transfer activities to support the sustainable management of fisheries and aquatic resources throughout Northern Ireland.
We are seeking motivated and reliable Fisheries Field Assistants to support a range of scientific surveys and research projects. This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are comfortable working in varied weather conditions and aquatic environments.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with surveys of fish populations in rivers, lakes, and freshwater systems.
Participate in electric fishing surveys and fish population monitoring activities.
