Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapists perform evaluations and in accordance with physician orders/protocols, administers respiratory care treatments. The RRT educates patients with cardiopulmonary disabilities, injuries, and/or diseases.

Responsibilities
- Assembles, checks for proper function, identifies malfunctions of equipment, and takes action to correct malfunctions of equipment.
- Collects and evaluates additional pertinent clinical information by assessing patient s overall cardiopulmonary status.
- Conducts therapeutic procedures to achieve adequate spontaneous and artificial ventilation.
- Conducts therapeutic procedures to achieve maintenance of patient airway, including the care of artificial airways and to achieve removal of bronchial pulmonary secretions., Determines the appropriateness of prescribed ...
